Services will be held Friday for a local man credited with the invention of the first wheelchair-accessible taxi cab. 72-year-old Jim Bosso, former owner of Santa Cruz Transportation (which is Yellow Cab), died on Monday. Bosso was very active in business and the community and was “Skipper” of the Santa Cruz Sea Scout Program for five decades. He was also involved with the Lion’s Club and many other community organizations. Services will be held this Friday at 11 AM at Holy Cross Catholic Church in Santa Cruz.
