A man who was arrested this morning for shooting another man, now faces a homicide charge because the victim has died. 24 year-old Obed Rubio suffered the fatal shooting on the 100 block of West Street in Salinas (near Central Park). 21 year-old Abran Rubio, who was found hiding nearby, was booked into Monterey County Jail (in connection with that shooting).
