Although several agencies were working together to try and get a grounded fishing boat off the rocks near natural bridges state beach without it causing an environmental hazard, the boat’s fuel line ruptured, spilling nearly 200 gallons of diesel fuel. Crews were able to pump 620 gallons of diesel fuel from the vessel, and are working to remove the remaining 180 gallons from the 56-foot Pacific Quest, that has been stuck between the rocks since yesterday.
