Monterey County Fair organizers are taking precautions against the swine flu. Health officials say that every year a small number of humans are infected by sick livestock. This year more stringent monitoring of fair entries are in place. Health officials are also urging fair goers not to touch livestock or to eat in areas where the livestock are housed. The fair takes place from August 30th to September 3rd this year.
