A Salinas man has been sentenced to prison after he failed to report to probation. 34 year old Luis Alberto Chavez had been sentenced to DUI classes and probation with a 3 year suspended prison sentence for a 2016 incident on San Juan Grade where he crashed in to a porta-potty while doing dough-nuts with three times the legal limit of alcohol in his system. After failing to sign up for classes and report to probation . A warrant was issued for his arrest and on Friday a judge orderd Chavez to spend three years in prison.
