A local internet provider is working to provide free wifi to downtown Watsonville. Santa Cruz Fiber, a Cruzio service is partnering with the City of Watsonville, the Pajaro Valley Unified School District, and Digital NEST to provide free high speed wifi in the Watsonville Plaza downtown. Cruzio has been upgrading internet infrastructure in the Watsonville area as part of an effort to keep internet service in the south county on the same level as the rest of the county.
