The Scotts Valley Water District will be drilling a new well. The project will take place at the site of a former well that collapsed last summer at the Orchard Run Treatment Plant. Currently the district has been relying on its four other wells which have been operating at full capacity. The new well will allow the district to resume rotating water sources to rest aquifers.
