Seaside High School is 1 of 5 schools nationwide to have been chosen for national recognition. The Schools Of Opportunity Project gave Seaside High School their Gold Recognition Award. The school was recognized for its inclusive approach to combining career track education with college prep coursework. Other recipients of the 2017 Schools Of Opportunity Gold Recognition are in San Diego, Chicago, Nebraska, and New York.
