Ground has been broken for a new facility for the Food Bank For Monterey County. The new 20-thousand square foot structure will be built on Rossi Street. The food bank serves about 20 percent of the adult population of Monterey county, and 25 percent of the children that live there.
The Food Bank For Monterey County still needs to raise 5 million dollars by June for this project, and people can donate money by going on-line to the: FoodBankForMontereyCounty.org
