(05:55) Monterey – An officer involved shooting took place last night in Monterey. The incident occurred just after 9 p.m. on the 100 block of Surf Way. Police reported that a suspect shot at officers and they returned fire, striking him. The suspect was transported to Natividad Medical Center.
