(08:55) Santa Cruz – Pg&e reported that over 1700 customers have been without power this morning in Santa Cruz. Power went out just before 3:00 a.m. on the Westside of Santa Cruz due to a failed overhead connector. Wires are down on Laurel and Washington Streets in order to fix the problem. Power is expected to be restored to all, but 100 customers, by 9:00 a.m. The remainder of the customers should have their power restored by 2:00 or 3:00 p.m. today.
