The driver of a black Nissan passenger vehicle is being sought in connection with a hit-and-run accident that took place in Salinas tonight. A 6 year-old girl and her mother were hit near the intersection of East Lamar and North Main Street. The girl was airlifted to an area trauma center with non-life-threatening injuries. Anyone with information on this hit-and-run is encouraged to contact the Salinas Police Department.
