(9:00) Santa Cruz: A special meeting about the local effects of climate change will be held today in Santa Cruz. The Biennial Climate Action Strategy meeting will consist of several presentations including one on the adverse effects of rising sea levels on coastal communities. This event is free and open to the public, this meeting will take place from 5 to 7 p.m. at the Board of Supervisors chambers, 701 Ocean Street in Santa Cruz.
