The 22nd homicide of the year in Salinas is believed to have occurred this morning. The body of a 34 year-old Hispanic man, who has regularly slept on a John Street property, but was not a tenant of the facility there, was found this morning. Although his cause of death has not yet been released, Salinas police officers are investigating his death as a homicide.
