A 46 year-old Salinas man has been convicted of 1st Degree Murder. Alexander Winn was sentenced to 31 years-to life in prison for the First Degree Murder of his wife’s ex-husband. Winn stabbed 50 year-old David Derrington 22 times with a 9-inch long military-style knife….9 of those penetrated Derrington’s lungs.
