(18:59) SALINAS- A three year old Salinas boy sustained serious injuries when he was hit by an SUV. Authorities say that the boy was with his mother when he darted into the street and was struck by a Lincoln Navigator. The child suffered serious facial and head injuries and was flown to Oakland Children’s Hospital. The driver was tested for drugs and alcohol before being cited for being an unlicensed driver. The child is expected to recover.
