(12:10) Santa Cruz – The Santa Cruz Police Department’s Neighborhood Enforcement Team (NET) and the Santa Cruz County Gang Task Force (GTF) arrested two individuals for being in possession of drugs and firearms this morning in Santa Cruz. The incident happened just after 4 a.m. on the 2300 block of Portola Drive. Officers served a search warrant that stemmed from a narcotic investigation that was conducted by SCPD NET. Officers located over a pound and a half of methamphetamine and also recovered a Glock handgun with several high capacity magazines during the search. The two individuals were booked into Santa Cruz County Jail.
