(11:45) San Jose – The Capitol Murder trial of a man charged with killing a missing teenager has been postponed. Sierra LaMar disappeared in March of 2012 when she was walking to her school bus stop in Morgan Hill. Antolin Garcia-Torres was charged for killing LaMar after DNA consistent with his, was found on Lamar’s clothing in a near by field. Investigators also found DNA consistent with LaMar’s in Garcia-Torres’s car and on gloves and a rope that were located in his trunk. New information has surfaced and one of the DNA tests is now inconclusive under the revised protocol. Defense attorneys requested yesterday for more time to analyze the more than 1-thousand page report. The trial has been postponed for at least 12 days.
