(09:50) Santa Cruz County – The Santa Cruz County Board of Supervisors has approved new rules for food service businesses in an effort to protect the environment. The following rules apply to all the unincorporated areas of the county and went into effect on January 1st: No plastic straws, No plastic stir sticks, all cups must be certified compostable, all to-go cutlery must be certified compostable, no Styrofoam, and all to-go containers must be recyclable.
