(08:00) Monterey – Highway 1 in Monterey County was closed last night due to rocks and debris in the roadway. The area affected is from mile Marker 46 to Ragged Point. The road remained closed overnight because of safety concerns. Caltrans came back out at 5:30 this morning to continue working on clearing the roadways. They are expected to be monitoring the area until 6:00 tonight.
