An enforcement operation is taking place in salinas. From now through the end of the year, Salinas police officers and others are taking part in the “Drive Sober or Get Pulled Over” operation. More than 32,000 people were killed in vehicle accidents in 2014, with nearly 10,000 of those having impaired drivers involved. People are encouraged to either assign a “designated driver”, or use a cab, or an Uber, Lyft, or Curb service to get around.
