SALINAS – A possible homicide is being investigated in Salinas. That after a woman called 9-1-1 in hysterics this afternoon. She was calling from a home not far from the intersection of Wimbledon Avenue and Essex Way. Although police officers went to the residence, they had to leave and request a search warrant to be able to go back in and investigate further. Because the woman who called is a relative of the homeowner, but not the home owner, authorities also had to wait for permission to re-enter the home.
