In state races, Bill Monning Beat Out Palmer Kain for the 17th Senate District, while Anna Caballero got 63.3 percent of the vote in her race for the 30th State Assembly District. Mark Stone handily won in the 29th Assembly District.
All State Propositions Passed….Except 53, 60, 61, 62, AND 65.
In Santa Cruz County, all measures appear to have been approved except D and S, which are too close to call.
In Monterey County ALL measures passed except for Measure P (which failed) and Measure S (which is too close to call).
In San Benito County voters seem to be heading toard approving Measures U, V, and W, while Measure S is too close to call, and Measure T appears to be going down in defeat.
