MONTEREY BAY AREA – The Recreational Crab Season opened on Saturday, and reportedly the crabs are coming in large and tasty. That said, apparently the high waves and large ocean swell has prevented crab cages from properly settling on the ocean floor….and so not many crabs have been caught so far. The Commercial Crab Fishing Season is scheduled to open next Tuesday, November 15th.
