(17:03) TORO PARK- Toro Park experienced an estimated million dollars in damages while serving as a command center. The park located off of Highway 68 near Salinas was the center of operations for fire crews battling the Soberanes Fire over a four month period. Repair costs will be paid for by CalFire, The U.S. Park Service and Monterey County. The Soberanes Fire is the most expensive fire in history at a cost of 259 million dollars.
