Cal-fire reported this evening that both the Loma and Soberanes Fires are now considered to be fully contained. The Loma Fire burned 4,474-acres, destroying 12 homes and 16 outbuildings in it’s 16-day run…..while the 132,127-acre Soberanes Fire destroyed 57 homes and 11 outbuildings in its 83-day run. There are still about 60 Cal-Fire firefighters mopping-up hot spots at the Loma Fire and more than 600 are doing the same at the Soberanes Fire.
