(10:05) SALINAS- Authorities arrested five people during a probation compliance sweep in Salinas on Saturday. Members of the Salinas Police Department’s Violence Suppression Unit assisted in the arrest of a group of suspected gang members the probation compliance check. A total of five people were taken into custody. During the sweep police also seized one ballistic vest, one semi-auto handgun and nearly 5 grams of methamphetamine.
