(18:45) SACRAMENTO – Governor Jerry Brown has signed the controversial overtime pay for agricultural workers bill into law. Although most legislators say they want farmworkers to be paid a reasonable wage, some say that instead of the Ag Worker Bill meaning more money for farm workers, it’ll mean more lay-offs in the field. AB-1066 is slated to be phased-in starting in 2019.
