(18:48) SANTA CRUZ – A bicyclist was airlifted this afternoon, after suffering head injuries during a solo bike accident in Santa Cruz. The 5 p-m incident took place near the intersection of McPherson Street and Fair Avenue. The bicyclist was originally taken to Dominican Hospital, and then airlifted by Cal-Star to a Bay Area Trauma Center.
