(07:38) CASTROVILLE – Around 100 American flags were stolen from homes in Castroville over the weekend. The theft was reported in the Oak Hills housing development around 10:30 p.m. on Friday. Residents reported seeing the flags being taken from their yards by a man and a child. The Monterey County Sheriff’s Office is investigating the theft. (S.G.)
