June 30, 2016: Hollister Municipal Airport Receives FAA Grant

(07:17) HOLLISTER – Hollister Municipal Airport has been awarded a federal grant to update its master plan and layout to better serve travelers. Representative Sam Farr has secured over $230,000 from the Federal Aviation Administration to help the facility implement the improvements. Farr has previously secured $9 million from the FAA to help the airport complete a runway restoration project. The funds have been allotted to the airport in recognition of its role as an economic engine in San Benito County and for being the location of the CalFire Air Attack Base. (S.G.)
