(18:30) SANTA CRUZ – Some large (and full) garbage cans had to be hauled out of the ocean today near the Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk. They apparently washed into the ocean during last night’s high tide. The trash cans are owned by the Santa Cruz Seaside Company that owns the Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk, and the cans are normally stowed so this doesn’t happen.
