(19:42) SEASIDE- Monterey county authorities have charged a convicted killer in connection with the 1982 death of a Seaside woman. On Wednesday 60 year old Alfred Powell was arraigned on murder charges after the remains of Sandra McGee were found in 2015 at a property were Powell had lived when McGee disappeared in 1982. It was also were the body of Cynthia Nixon was found in 1983. Powell has been serving a 15 years to life sentence for Nixon’s murder and is a person of interest in another peninsula cold case.
