(18:40) MONTEREY – A citizens group is pushing Monterey to require that pet boarding facilities in the city either have some kind of monitoring system….or have to post signs that they don’t have such a system. That after 15 dogs died last year after a fire broke out in an animal boarding facility in Monterey. City staff has been instructed to look into more options, such as having a person at such boarding facilities 24 hours a day.
