(08:47) SANTA CRUZ – Residents living in the area of the UC Santa Cruz campus are being warned about potential traffic disruptions and hazards on Wednesday, as a result of the unsanctioned event known at “4-20”. There will be an increased law enforcement presence across campus, looking for individuals in violation of the law. Additionally, CHP officers will be conducting a DUI checkpoint near the west side of campus. Motorists and commuters are being asked to anticipate traffic delays and plan accordingly. The greatest impact is expected between 3 and 6 p.m. (S.G.)
