(18:00) APTOS – A teen convicted of smashing and torching a bunch of cars in Aptos has been sentenced. 20 year-old Joseph Smith is scheduled to spend a year in jail, and 4 years on probation. Along with that, Smith has been ordered to pay 37-thousand dollars in restitution, and will also have to register as an arsonist for the rest of his life. Smith was 18 back in November of 2014, when he and two 17 year-olds, vandalized 16 cars, and set three others on fire.
