(16:20) PINE CANYON – 2 people died today as the result of an early morning house fire west of King City. James and June Lafferty, who had lived there for 25 years, died after a fire broke out in their Pine Canyon home just after midnight. Although the Lafferty’s could not be saved, Cal-Fire firefighters were able to contain the blaze to the 1 home on Pine Canyon Road.
