(14:00) APTOS- Santa Cruz County Sheriff’s deputies arrested a man after a vehicle stop in Rio Del Mar last night (Sunday). Officials say that a patrol unit performed a vehicle stop on Rio Del Mar Boulevard, when deputies contacted the driver, 39 year old Troy Talamante, they observed a glass methamphetamine pipe in his shirt pocket. Talamante was placed under arrest and the vehicle was searched. Hidden in the engine compartment officers located an AR-15 assault riffle and 38 pounds of ammunition. Talamante was booked into county jail on multiple charges.
