(17:43) SALINAS- The City of Salinas resumed its clean up at the homeless encampment in the Chinatown area yesterday (Thurs). Public work crews removed old mattresses, trash and other debris as a large police presence stood by. The clean up originally started on Wednesday but was called off after crews encountered resistance by activist for the homeless.
