(08:58) SANTA CRUZ – A man and a woman are being held in Santa Cruz County Jail on suspicion of fraud, forgery and possessing drugs and stolen property. Santa Cruz police were dispatched to the 200 block of First Street over the weekend following a report of a suspected drug deal. At the scene, officers contacted 31-year-old Tilden Ball and 30-year-old Elizabeth Escamilla in a Mazda Miata. A search of their vehicle recovered stolen credit cards, methamphetamine, syringes, and a machine to alter and make credit cards. They remain in county jail in lieu of $10,000 bail. (S.G.)
