(08:03) SANTA CRUZ – Santa Cruz public works officials are meeting next week to address a proposal that would change the direction of traffic on Pacific Avenue. The new plan would direct incoming traffic south down Pacific Avenue all the way to the beach. One change would include converting one section of the corridor between Church and Cathcart streets from northbound to southbound. The Transportation and Public Works Commission will discuss the issue on Monday at 7 p.m. at Santa Cruz City Council Chambers. (S.G.)
