(18:53) SALINAS- A Salinas school was locked down for several hours yesterday (Thurs) after allegedly receiving a threat from a former employee. Gavilan View Middle School was placed on a precautionary lockdown after a threat was received from a former employee. The nature of the threat has not been disclosed. The campus remained locked down throughout the school day. Authorities are investigating the incident.
