(07:46) MONTEREY COUNTY – A Monterey County judge has set the preliminary hearing date for a teenager and woman accused of murder, torture, and child abuse. 39-year-old Tami Huntsman and 18-year-old Gonzalo Curiel allegedly tortured and killed 6-year-old Shaun Tara and his 3-year-old sister Delylah. Huntsman and Curiel are also accused of abusing a 9-year-old girl. On Friday, their preliminary hearing date was set for May 23. Both sides of the case are due back in court March 11 for a calendar call. (S.G.)
