(19:40) SANTA CRUZ/WATSONVILLE – The wanted assailant in a knife attack in downtown Santa Cruz was arrested in Watsonville Monday evening. The suspect, 18-year-old Adolfo Pantoja was turned over to the Santa Cruz Police Department after being located outside of his home on Ford Street by Watsonville police officers. The alleged attack took place on Friday evening in the area of Pacific Avenue and Center Street. Pantoja faces charges of attempted murder and participating in a criminal gang.
