(18:46) SALINAS- A Salinas man has pleaded guilty to murdering three men. In August of 2013 24 year old Giovanni Pacheco fatally shot 28 year old Edgar Salinas, 22 year old Victor Ortiz, and 25 year old Alejandro Hernandez following an argument at Taco’s Choice. The prosecution decided not to seek the death penalty based on several factors including : age, lack of a substantial criminal record, lower intellectual ability, intoxication, and the sudden unpremeditated confrontation. Pacheco will be sentenced to life without parole on April 8th.
