On Thursday, a homeowner caught 20-year-old Antonio Ramirez and one other burglarizing his residence on the 1900 block of Cabernet Way. Ramirez struggled with the homeowner while his accomplice fled the scene. The fight continued until Ramirez became unresponsive. He was later transported to the hospital where he was pronounced dead. No charges have been filed against the homeowner. The investigation is ongoing.
