(17:20) SANTA CRUZ – The planned 2-mile long Coastal Rail Trail is expected to allow thousands of people to bike or walk from Natural Bridges Drive to the Santa Cruz Wharf. The 12-16 foot wide paved trail would bisect Santa Cruz. The construction of the Coastal Rail Trail is now scheduled to begin in 2017, and take about a year to complete.
