A Watsonville man was arrested following a traffic stop on Friday. Authorities say that shortly after 10 p.m. police conducted an enforcement stop on a vehicle for a vehicle code violation in the area of Alta Vista Street and Santa Clara Street. A search of the vehicle was performed after officers spotted open alcoholic beverages and a loaded, unregistered firearm was seized. The driver 48 year old Jesus Macias was taken into custody on multiple firearms charges.
