(09:01) CENTRAL COAST – CHP officers were kept busy while stormy conditions hit the Central Coast on Tuesday. Officers responded to nearly 50 crashes between midnight on Monday to 6 p.m. Tuesday night. Additionally, towing companies received over 100 calls for service. Before the Central Coast experiences more stormy weather, the public is being urged to take extra precautions to prevent crashes. AAA recommends motorists slow down, avoid cruise control, and leave room between themselves and other vehicles. (S.G.)
