(06:40) WATSONVILLE – Police are seeking an individual who robbed and shot a man in Watsonville Tuesday night. Officers were dispatched to the area of Madison and Stanford streets shortly after 11 p.m. following a report of an armed robbery. At the scene, police found a 20-year-old man suffering from a non-life-threatening-gunshot wound. He was transported to the hospital for treatment. The victim was reportedly sitting in his vehicle when he was approached by a man in dark clothing and a brown turtle neck. The robber took the victim’s wallet and shot him before fleeing on a black BMX bicycle. The assailant has been described as a Hispanic man in his twenties and was last seen riding his bike northbound on Madison Street towards Prospect Avenue.
